Prickly Pear Market Garden.

Following the setup of our market garden over the winter, we are very pleased to have begun offering a field to plate element to our menu. Our Head Gardener, Spencer Iley, has a huge amount of experience from working at some incredible market gardens such as The Newt before joining our team. Using his methodical processes and the famous no dig process, he is growing some exception produce in a completely natural and environmentally friendly way. The market garden is just 10 miles away in Bruton, so we are also significantly lowering food miles. We beliveve that the alchemy and magic that goes into the flavour of our food adds a huge amount to our dining experience and now that litterally starts from seed.

Bells Famous Fisheries.

When it comes to fish, there is not a lot that Joe Shucker does not know. Having grown up learning all things fishy whilst working for his family's business, Joe is now using his incredible, ethical, connections to supply a select few restaurants, and we are lucky enough to be one of them! We met Joe through our love of music. One sunny evening we bumped into him whilst he was DJing at The Chapel in Bruton. We lent him some headphones, and soon became fast friends. As the evening continued we surprised to learn he was a 5th generation fish smoker and monger! The rest so they say is history. Do go and check out his shop in Wimborne if you get a chance!

Gone Rogue Ldn.

It is no secret that the art selection in our restaurant is amazing and that is for one reason and one reason only: Gone Rogue LDN!

Kim, Neil and Todd are long term friends of ours since meeting them back in 2020 at a pop up gallery for the Pikes party at Marston Park in Frome. We love their art curation and couldn't ask for a better team to dress our walls. Their background in the art world runs deep with a long history of curating artwork for some incredible hotels, galleries, restaurants and private collectors in London, Ibiza, New York and now, Frome!

Walter Rose and Sons.

Based out of Devizes, Walter Rose was an obvious choice for our meat supplier. In an industry which can be so misleading with greenwashing and cruel practices, it is hard to find a meat supplier with as strong a moral compass as our own. Walter Rose practice a true "field to fork" process which is as sustainable as possible. With long standing relationships with their carefully picked suppliers, they ensure true sustainability whilst ensuring minimal impact on the environment. We really believe that this professionalism shines through in their product which is why they are the perfect meat supplier for us and our customers.

Lost and Grounded Brewery, Bristol.

Having stocked, lovingly consumed and greatly enjoyed Lost and Grounded beer at our pub in Bruton, The Prickly Pear, they were an obvious choice for our draught beer partner. Our best seller is a beer we colaborated on directly, the Inoshishi larger. An 80% rice larger which is crisp, fresh and dry, perfect to enjoy alongside our menu. Our incredible account manager James kindly took our whole team on a brewery tour where we where able to dive into the inner workings and the origins of its creation, which made it even clearer to us why they were the best beer to serve to our customers.

The moss archives

You may have noticed the incredible dried flower cloud in our main restaurant, our beatiful vases of seasonal flowers on the bar or the plants carefully placed around Inoshishi. We are super honored to have such a unique selection of plants and dried flower displays all courtesy of Sara from The Moss Archives. We met Sara at her shop and immediately fell in love with her style. We thought our brands are a great match and put our restaurants plant selection in her hands. The outcome is pure magic! Sara has a beautiful shop on Cheap Street which you must check out!

Girls Who Grind Coffee.

An independent, female founded, specialty coffee roastery and rebellion movement." says it all really. Working solely with female owned farms, with only female employees, their story is empowering in the male dominated world that is the coffee industry. We love this company for their ethical and moral standing, the way they nurture a scene they are so passionate about, the way they process their coffee and most importantly how their coffee tastes. They are a great local company and we very much value the relationship we continue to build.
